IPG Automotive expands collaboration with Elektrobit

2019-09-04 15:18

IPG Automotive and Elektrobit have entered into a partnership to provide better support for customers who use IPG’s CarMaker and the EB Assist Automotive Data and Time-Triggered framework (ADTF) from Elektrobit. The collaboration will be expanded in the future.

As a toolbox for the development of ECUs, EB Assist ADTF combines a development environment and an interactive work environment. Using drag-and-drop, developers are able to create new configurations by means of the graphical user interface and the available modules.

The data flow between the software components can be immediately defined and executed. Comprehensive libraries and toolboxes for various functionalities facilitate faster development of driver assistance and automation software modules.

EB Assist ADTF is designed for use both in the lab and on the test track. Coupling with CarMaker enables test algorithms of assistance systems or sensor models to be performed in virtual test driving in combination with the EB Assist ADTF environment.

“There is a great demand for coupling of the two tools in the market. Thanks to the new partnership, we now guarantee even more efficient, optimal overall support together with Elektrobit to ensure continued high customer satisfaction,” said Martin Elbs, general manager for sales and business development at IPG Automotive.

Find out at Automotive Testing Expo Korea 2018 (March 13-15). The company will be exhibiting at stand 6007.
