Samara National Research University and MSC Software to establish MSC competence center

Samara National Research University in Russia and MSC Software have entered into a partnership under which the two companies will build a competence center at the university´s Institute of Engine and Power Plant Engineering.

Experts from the Samara University will be able to conduct investigations in order to solve engineering challenges, and demonstrate the solutions to the industrial enterprises based in the region.

Samara University has selected to employ MSC software solutions for the technical preparation of production – MSC Apex, a unified CAE environment for virtual product development; and MSC´s Simufact solution portfolio for manufacturing simulation, including Simufact Forming, Simufact Welding and Simufact Additive. This will enable the university to better prepare students who are starting their careers.
