Cellbond celebrated its 30th anniversary with a two-day technical conference in Cambridgeshire in the UK on April 25 and 26. The event hosted speakers from Euro NCAP, Opel, Ford and leading road safety institutions from around the world, among others. In addition, Cellbond unveiled its new THOR-50M dummy.

Dr Mike Ashmead, founder and chairman of Cellbond, said, “When I started the company in 1988, I did not anticipate just how much it would develop over the years. Through the hard work and dedication of many people we have grown and continue to do so.

“Cellbond’s approach has always been to work in partnership with our customers and actively seek out opportunities for innovation and improvement, this has been key to our success in the ATD field.

“Increasing our product range from barriers to Q-Series dummies, Flex-PLI, aPLI and a full THOR-50M in less than five years has been a phenomenal achievement and would not have been possible without the encouragement and support of our customers and partners. We are excited about what lies ahead and look forward to many new challenges to come.”
